Voice of Specials (VOS) is the largest circulated bi-lingual magazine by and for the "Persons with Disabilities" in Pakistan and a media project of Noor Fatima Welfare Trust. By using the magazine platform, it’s our utmost duty to find and help out the persons with disabilities and less-privileged. To boost up our mission, using full strength, we are on the way to locate deserving PWDs of all categories. We listen to their problems attentively and then uplift their collective voice through our magazine to the concerned authorities and departments. Since very beginning, with the mercy of God Almighty, our magazine has crossed the borderlines...   subscribe to "voice of specials"

Noor Fatima Welfare Trust (NFWT) came into being as registered NGO and certified member of Rehabilitation International, USA to make heart-felt efforts for the rehabilitation of people with certain disabilities. With the unchangeable believe in God Almighty and sincerity and honesty to our aims & objectives we are doing our level best to achieve our goals with sincere and expert opinions of our executive members and sharing guidelines, techniques and insights with other NGOs working for the same cause. We focus on issues and problems that directly affect people’s ability to live full and independent lives. We have achieved a little and have to be done a lot.

Marriage Bureau for Disables is an affiliated project offering free online services to PWDs seeking for their better half. By providing possible marriage opportunities, we are in a mission to serve the deserving class of the society and the most ignored issue of less-privileged - the marriage. Our “Dual Compensation Program” saves two lives when marrying with a person having different (not same) type of disability. Our slogan sounds, “Best compensating match at no cost”.  register yourself for free

Online community for persons with disabilities including forums, chat, classifieds, latest news, disability products and articles.
Note: Our site entry at Disabled World

  Shocking Realities...

  • There are 650+ million PWDs worldwide, in which 80% are living in poor countries.

  • PWD is the world’s largest “minority” worldwide.

  • It is estimated that about 1% in any given population, i.e, about 65 million people worldwide require a wheelchair. (WHO)

  • Death rate in PWDs is 80% more than normal persons.

  • Suicide rate in PWDs - Persons with Disabilities" is approx. 75%.

Disability of any nature is not a tragedy, it’s an inconvenience.
Just because you are disable doesn't mean you can't enjoy the variety of life.
Be proud of who you are. It's OK to be different.

It's the society that needs to change her manners to include PWDs in the community.
We; the PWDs should not have to change to fit in with society.
