About NFWT...

God selects some persons to test their capabilities and temperaments while others are selected to examine their noble deeds. In our society, some individuals are blind by birth, apartheid, senseless, retarded or become "Persons with Disabilities" (like me) in some accident. Such persons are an open sign of God that anybody may be selected for a divine examination. So, sighted persons should oblige to blinds and a person with legs should help the cripples. Similarly, in a society, everybody should see the persons beneath the normality and think about how God has blessed them with a higher rank by health or resources. Thus, they must fulfill their obligations to show their humble thankfulness to God.

In view of these realities, Noor Fatima Welfare Trust (NFWT) came into being as registered NGO to make heart-felt efforts for the rehabilitation of people with certain disabilities. With the unchangeable believe in God Almighty and sincerity and honesty to our aims & objectives we are doing our level best to achieve our goals with the sincere and expert opinions of our executive members and sharing guidelines, techniques and insights with other NGOs working for the same cause. We focus on issues and problems that directly affect people’s ability to live full and independent lives. We have achieved a little and have to be done a lot.

To approach the general public and awareness of the "Persons with Disabilities" of all natures, we are publishing a monthly magazine - Voice of Specials. We do hope; this project will extend our voice to the highest authorities and concerned departments to come forward and join hands to address the difficulties and grievances, "Persons with Disabilities" are currently facing. We are in our way to fight for the rights imposed in the constitution for the betterment and rehabilitation of "Persons with Disabilities". We have already sent our recommendations to the authorities and waiting for an implementation in due course of time.

It's our utmost honour to be certified member of Rehabilitation International, USA (RI) and Noor Fatima Welfare Trust is listed in the RI Directory 2007. Noor Fatima Welfare Trust is also listed as accredited NGO at UN Enable Website

We intend to achieve our goals by gaining access to all available resources in terms of people i.e volunteers, field force, medical advisors, legal advisors, rehabilitation concerns and independent donors (money and materials). We acknowledge the efforts, concerns and cooperation of our volunteers, dignitaries and affiliated NGOs.
